  1. My favourite things about the circus are the aerial acrobats, who are so daring, beautiful and sparkling and the lion tamer Clyde Beatty.
I will never forget seeing Clyde Beatty holding a long whip and a kitchen chair, getting the lions, one by one, to sit on their stools. He was so dashing in his tan jodhpurs and shiny high boots.

  2. Rona Arato says:

My favorite thing about a circus is the elephants – really! The acrobats come next.

  3. Leonor Santana says:

My fav thing from the Circus is the customs/dresses & make up, mainly the colours, I love the energy on each act they are all exciting!

  4. Trish Jarvis says:

Definitely the acrobatic tricks are the highlight.

  5. Etti Miller says:

The clowns are my favourite act in the circus. They always remind me of someone who is happy and entertaining on the outside, however, sad and wanting on the inside. A little bit of all of us I think.

  6. sharon salsberg says:

While this may not be original, I love the elephants. They are the animal I gravitate to at the zoo and they were always the act I loved most from the circus. However, my opinion of the circus changed after seeing bears chained up. I realized the cruelty of it all. The circus can be entertaining enough filled with humans acts.

  7. Shirley Hartt says:

When I was growing up in Fredericton the circus arrived by train and then there was a wondeful parade of the animals and performers to the fair grounds.

  8. Danielle says:

My face part of the circus is the acrobats! A true show stopper! And of course the animals 😉

  9. lynne says:

Water for Elephants was a beautiful storey portraying a very sad theme. When I first read it, it bothered me but as I discussed it with many found it to be a love storey with strong emotional ties to many lives I have known

  10. Valerie says:

My favourite thing about the circus is the music. It sounds odd, but the music is what makes the circus what it is! It makes me feel on edge during risky moments, happy during silly times, and in awe during fun acts!

  11. Maria-Elizabeth Granda says:

My Favourite part of the circus would have to be the animals. I love the Elephants and the Lions the most. I also love the costumes and as a young girl was always fascinated by the circus tents.

  12. Lu says:

My favourite thing about the circus is the stage, because it is always well decorated and very spacious.

  13. Adil says:

my favorite acts are the acrobats and contortionists, gives me goosebumps.

  14. LC says:

My favorite thing about the circus is the flying trapeze artists.
